I really must bring my computer into the 21st century, but until then...
My Netscape 7 seems to have acquired a few problems that have crippled it somewhat: all my bookmarks have been lost, my toolbar folder has irretrievably disappeared, a few other functions don't work and the whole program has decided it can't run alongside anything else. Otherwise it's fine and dandy, but I'd really like one that works as it should. Have done all the usual searches for folders and de-fragging etc.

I installed it as a download, but does anyone have Netscape 7.02 for Mac on a disc that I could use to re-install? (I already have Netscape 6 on disc which I am very averse to using because it's crap). Nowhere I've looked online still has it available as a download.

Copious amounts of beer/G&Ts offered as recompense.

Thanks, strangely that's one site I never found. Have downloaded and it works, but with the same problems. Must be some kind of program conflict going on in my hard drive.

No but have you tried Mozilla Firefox? Netscapish but with some nice features. However the occaisional website still won't display properly but then it's similar to Netscape too in that respect.

But may first require dragging the Mac into the 21st century with an upgrade to Mac OSX. Netscape 7.02 is significant as the last version that would run on the Classic MacOS; newer versions of Netscape, and Firefox, require OSX.

For now I suggest you revel in your primitive status. That's what I do since I'm still using the first computer I bought back in 1996.
